Photos (Albums)

Albums (/admin/albums (/admin/albums in your admin)) — labeled Photos in your sidebar — are standalone photo collections for your public gallery. Useful for cattery-life photos that don't belong to a specific cat or litter: nursery shots, show photos, behind-the-scenes.

Required fields

• Name — used as the album title and in the URL slug.

Optional fields

• Description — short text shown above the photo grid on the public album page.
• Sort order — controls the order albums appear in on /photos. Lower numbers first.

Photos

Upload via the photo uploader (drag-and-drop or pick from your files). Each photo accepts alt text and an optional caption shown in the lightbox. The first photo (sort 0) is the album cover used on the listing.

The Photos nav link

The public "Photos" nav link only appears when you have at least one public album. Until then, the nav stays clean.

Public toggle

Albums are private by default. Flip the toggle to publish. A private album hides every photo in it — even ones marked public on the photo record.

Tips

• Keep albums under ~40 photos for a good public experience.
• Drag to reorder photos — the order in admin matches what buyers see.
• The lightbox auto-handles arrow keys, swipe gestures, and full-screen on mobile.
