Settings
Cattery info, brand color, contact details, social links, trust signals, and the announcement banner.
Settings (/admin/settings (/admin/settings in your admin)) controls everything about the look and contact of your cattery site. Save once at the bottom — every section saves together.
Cattery info
- Cattery name — the big name in your sidebar, header, footer, and email signatures. Change carefully; it's not a "brand reset" feature.
- Tagline — one line under your cattery name on the home hero. Keep it short ("Maine Coons raised in the mountains").
- Welcome paragraph — a longer intro that sits below the hero. Rich text; use bold/links sparingly.
- Brand color — one hex value that drives buttons, accent links, and badges across your public site. The picker warns if your choice has poor contrast against backgrounds.
- Hero photo — large image at the top of the home page. If unset, you get an illustrated fallback. Upload at least 1600px wide for it to look sharp.
- Logo — small mark used in the header. Optional. Use transparent PNG or SVG.
Contact
- Contact email — required. Where buyer applications get emailed to.
- Phone — optional. Shown on
/contact. - Location — free-text, optional. Use city + region; not a precise address.
Social
Five fields: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X. Just paste the URL (or just the @handle for Instagram/TikTok). Each one shows as an icon in the public footer.
Announcement banner
A thin strip at the top of every public page. Toggle on and add text — used for things like "Spring 2026 kittens: applications open."
Trust signals
Six small badges that show in a strip on your home page (between Featured Cats and Footer). Four are toggleable: Raised With Love, Lifetime Support, Ethical Breeding, World Class Lines. Two auto-derive:
- Health Tested — lights up when at least one of your cats has a public health record.
- [Registry] Registered — lights up when you fill in your registry name (TICA, CFA, FIFe, ...).
If zero badges are on, the whole strip hides.
Cattery showcase
A "meet your breeder" section below the trust signals. Toggle on, write a paragraph, upload 2–4 photos. Off by default — your home page works fine without it.
Application confirmation
When a buyer submits an application, they get an auto-confirmation email. You can customize the body here — rich text. Default copy is provided.
Cattery name changes affect your display only — your subdomain (yourcattery.densites.com) does not change. If you ever want to change your subdomain, email [email protected].
